Question: I would like to inquire about the possibility of making me a handheld light for scientific micro photography. You previously made a light for one of my colleagues, a paleontologist at the University of Kansas. I recently borrowed the light and would like to have one of my own. He thinks the flashlight body is the rechargeable Eagle utility and he thinks the light is the LED combination that recreates white light--he said he thinks it is a combo of RGB--for photography. Does this sound right? Answer: The light we made for him was a light with flood LED Head. It has four LED chips, but not R, G, B chips. They were four blue LED chips with phosphor coating on all of them. We did balance the light to natural white, but it was on amount and components of the coating on the LED chips. We will make one. the Lead time is 2-3 weeks.
