Questions on Eagle Flashlight

I have the Eagle 160 Lumen rechargeable flash light. I was looking at the 2600 mAh battery and the higher lumen "bulbs." Would this be compatable with my standard flash light? I am trying to make the light brighter. The light is used in short stints of usually no more than 30 seconds. The light is used 20-30 times in a 12 hour period. Please advise me on the brightest, practical combination for my existing housing.

2600 battery will work for your light, it will make the light run a little longer and brighter. Turbo LED head is 280 lumens, it works on your Eagle housing, and is about the same size as Eagle

if you put a Turbo switch unit on a Eagle flashlight, you are not getting full power out of the light.
if you put a Eagle switch unit on a Turbo flashlight, you cannot turn off your light.

I just purchased a black eagle flash light from my Snap-ON dealer
(10-20-20012) after looking it over when i got home and seeing a couple major flaws in your light although you have incorperated great tech. which is outstanding.
how ever the flaws are:
one - I work in a dirty enviroment (mechanic)hands are dirty some times coated with mud/dirt & grease when light is picked up or being used the port for the chager is way to accepteable to being pluged by same or if water enters the port it will rust.
two - the lanyard that came with the light (really) dental floss has more going for it than that exspecialy at the price of 120.00.

ok i would purchase this light if more thought was given to real world use & not in some climate controlled envoroment which may be this particular model was designed for and not a working mans light that being used in a some what harsh inviroment. please understand this is not a slam about your product but rather what i would hope to be a constructive view of what your light lacks in the application for what i bought it for that being small for tight places powerfull and having some real good attachments that would aid me greatly in my work.
how ever at the over all cost of just under 200.00 (light & attachment) i can not justifi that much money for a product that will fail in a short period of time and will be returning it even with your warranty two weeks or even one day is to long to wait when work needs to be done.

The charging port: you probably don't know that the charging port is sealed inside. In the case of dirt & grease, or rust, it will not affect the light, but it does require maintenance to keep the contacts clean for charging. In the case of water get in, you can still use the light, but please wait until the port is dry before you charge the light.

If there is ever a problem with the charging port, or the switch, you can choose to send it in for repair under warranty. Or another option is to buy a switch unit (http://powerledlighting.com/shop/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=10_51&products_id=109) that includes both a new switch and a new charging port to replace yourself. It is very easy to do, you just unscrew the old (you may need a pair of pliers) and put on the new one, you will need to remember to keep the washer inside the switch unit.

The lanyard: the cost for you on the lanyard is $0.50. Some of our customers replace it with a thicker one, some just keep a few extra.

The LED head, we did make change on the LED head, the new version was released in September of this year. I am not sure which one you got.

The old version, the lens ring screwed onto the LED head, if the light get dropped too often in your working environment, lens ring may get loose. You may need to use glue to fix it in place. Without the protection, the LED chip may be damaged and this will void the warranty. We can applied our exchange policy for unwarrantable LED, $15 to exchange with a new LED.

The new version, the len ring screws into the LED head, it will not get loose so the LED is always under warranty unless you deliberately take off the lens ring (please do not try to clean the LED chip with Q-tip, it will break the bonding wire or scratch phosphor coating on the LED chip). I don’t have a picture of it now. I will email you one later.
