Question I bought your eagle 12wfp-5200 flash light, it saids 640 lumens, but the one I got is about as bright as the turbo eagle model with about half that much. So my question is whats up with the brightness on mine?
answer Lumens are the total lumens. If you compare the light spot, you can see that the light pattern for 12WFP and Turbo is different. Turbo confined all light to a small area, and 12WFP has a strong center beam and a lot of light around the center beam. 12WFP has 4 LED chips (if you look closely at the yellow LED chips), and Turbo just have one, because of this 12WFP runs much cooler than Turbo.
When 12WFP if fully charged, I am sure 12WFP will throw a light much further than Turbo. If you just use it for close range, Turbo will appear to have the same brightness as 12WFP, that was because all 280 lumen confined in a small area. If you prefer Turbo, you can exchange the 12WFP LED head with a Turbo head. The price difference on the LED head is $57
