QuestionI am planning to mount my Turbo to a fore-rail on my 7.62 rifle, using your Standard Rail Mount and am concerned that such a small mount will be sufficient to withstand the energy produced by the rifle and stand up to CQB conditions. Do I need two? Thanks!
AnswersOne mount is good, but if you decided on two you would need the rubber piece also.

I have had my light rail mounted on a 5.56 for four years and in all kinds
of conditions as a police sniper. I have not had any failures with the
mount. I know the recoil is higher with the 7.62, but the mount goes over
the rubber ring on the light and I believe it will absorb the shock. As far
as CQB conditions go, I would urge to evaluate/test the conditions you are
referring to and decide what you need before you are in the real thing. If
you decide you want a second mount make certain that you also request a
second rubber ring for the light. I have sold a light set up to an
individual that did a mount on an M14 and they used only one mount
