When you were working for SafeLite, do you remember how long it usually takes to cure the windshield repair resin with the UV fluorescent lamp you had in the kit, and how long it took if using the rechargeable 8WFP UV-365 light you had?

Answer
The fluorescent black light took about 60 seconds and the LED took about 35 seconds, the LED is also better because the light is more concentrated and instant full power, the fluorescent black light takes time to reach full intensity. The LED touches the windshield, the curing coverage is 1.6 inches in all directions.

Question
was the 35 sec cure just for surface cure, or for all of the resin in cracks.

Answer
The resin inside the crack will take an hour or a few hours to cure no matter what light you have, inside cures based on lack of oxygen
